One of my core responsibilities as a marketing executive at Totalren Solutions (now named Bspoke Software) was to manage a complete rebrand of the company. This meant a new name, new marketing materials and a new website. It was a project I had never taken on before and I was excited about all the new skills and methodologies I was going to learn.
I installed HotJar onto the current site which gave us a detailed look into what users are doing, where they’re going and what they try to click on. After gathering all the necessary data I got to work on designing a brand new website for the company that simplified the current state of the website. Diluting nearly all the pages down to a single landing page that displayed all the information our users were looking to find. We also noticed that users would first visit the “Meet the team” page as they clearly wanted to get to know us before anything else. As a photographer in my free time I used my skills to take professional headshots of all the team and had them clearly displayed in the “About us” Section of the new website. The result was a fresher, more modern look for the company that did away with non-clickable elements and inflated information, making navigation simpler and details more clear.
